Its oil is used topically to reduce the symptoms of many skin ailments, as well as being used as an effective skin moisturizer. Due to the small size of its oil molecule, it is easily absorbed and quickly starts to improve skin at the cellular level. Once applied topically, emu oil has the potential to decrease the signs of aging, increase collagen production and skin elasticity, reduce fine lines, hasten burn and wound healing, lighten scars and stretch marks, decrease inflammation and aid in the treatment of uncomfortable skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

It is important to us that our patrons understand that the color, aroma, and texture of our balms can vary slightly from season to season and from batch to batch. The reason for these variations is because we utilize ingredients that are fresh, organic, raw, unfiltered, and minimally processed. We do not add any artificial coloring, fragrances, or stabilizers to our balms to ensure that each jar is identical.

We have observed and learned to expect variations in color, aroma, and texture from the fresh ingredients we procure to produce our beautiful balms; therefore, we have also observed those slight variations in our final products from batch to batch.

After all, we are working with nature, which is ever-changing. Finding beauty in creating products that are nutritionally rich, fresh, and unaltered.
These beautiful, natural variations do not change or affect the potency of our product.

How do I store my product?

Our balms are specifically formulated to be solid at room temperature but melt upon touching the skin. In the event that Oh, Honey or our luscious blue Rejuvenating Balm is stored at temperatures similar to our body temperatures, it is natural for the balms to go from a solid to a liquid state.

If our balm becomes soft or melted after being exposed to higher temperatures, either during shipping or while in your care, please place it in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes to restore its texture.

We recommend storing our products at room temperature (59 to 77 °F) and out of direct sunlight. Cool and dry environments can extend the shelf life of our products. We therefore recommend not storing our balms in rooms with high humidity, such as the bathroom, since water can condense on the surface of the product and start to generate mold.
